Universal Dates Five Nights At Freddy’s 2, Delays The Black Phone 2 & M3GAN 2.0

Universal has set a release dates for its Five Nights At Freddy’s, sequel and more, while pushing back the dates for the sequels for The Black Phone & M3GAN. Deadline reports that the sequel to Blumhouse adaptation of the horror video game franchise will release on December 5th, 2025.

The studio has also set release dates for the Blumhouse thrillers The Woman in the Yard (March 28th, 2025) and Drop (April 11th, 2025). Meanwhile, The Black Phone 2 will now release on October 17th, 2025 as opposed to its June 17th, 2025 date while M3GAN 2.0 is taking that June 17th spot, vacating its May 16th, 2025 date.

Five Night at Freddy’s was a massive hit for Blumhouse and Universal, grossing $297.2 million worldwide against a $20 million budget. Emma Tammi will be back to direct the sequel, whose plot details have yet to be revealed.
