We’ll be seeing Vin Diesel’s Bloodshot a month later than we expected to. Sony Pictures has moved the Valiant comic adaptation, which stars Diesel, from February 21st, 2020 to March 13th.

That move pushes the action film further away from Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), which opens on February 7th, as well as the Valentine’s Day release of Sonic The Hedgehog. Instead, it will now do battle with action-comedy My Spy which stars Dave Bautista, as well as Lionsgate’s faith-based drama I Still Believe.

Bloodshot is directed by Dave Wilson and is based on the Kevin Van Hook, Don Perlin and Bob Layton comic from Valiant. It stars Diesel as Ray Garrison, a soldier recently killed in action and brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the RST corporation. With an army of nanotechnology in his veins, he’s an unstoppable force –stronger than ever and able to heal instantly. But in controlling his body, the company has sway over his mind and memories, too. Now, Ray doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not – but he’s on a mission to find out.

The film also stars Guy Pearce, Talulah Riley, and Alex Hernandez.
