The Walking Dead Showrunner Thinks Daryl Fans Will be Very Happy With Season 9

TV Line recently spoke to Angela Kang, the new showrunner for AMC’s The Walking Dead, who shared some details for the show’s upcoming ninth season and the character of Daryl (Norman Reedus). Kang responded to the question of if Norman Reedus will “finally get some loving?”

Kang stated in response, “What I will say is that we will be telling a great story with Daryl this season. He has some really meaty material coming up, so Daryl fans will get their fill.”

She added on the subject, “The show deals a lot with the bonds between the core characters that have formed over the course of years. There is love between them, but these are also complex relationships. They’re family.”

The Walking Dead Season 9 is expected to debut later this fall.
