Warner Bros. Changes Release Dates For Wonder Woman 1984, Godzilla vs. Kong, The Matrix 4, More

While it looks like we are closer to movie theaters opening up again, Warner Bros. is still shuffling around release dates. In addition to Tenet being delayed by two weeks to July 31st, more movies have been given new dates.

Gal Gadot revealed on Twitter that Wonder Woman 1984, which had been set to arrive on June 5, then August 14, will now debut on October 2.

Meanwhile, Joblo reports that the studio has moved The Matrix 4 from May 21, 2021, to April 1, 2022. Godzilla vs. Kong, which had been set to arrive on November 20, is now set for release on May 21, 2021. It will open against Lionsgate’s Spiral: From the Book of Saw. Robert Zemeckis’ adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Witches was moved from October 9 to sometime in 2021 and Tom & Jerry was moved from December 23 to March 5, 2021. Finally, Unhinged, which stars Russell Crowe and was going to be the first film in US theaters since the COVID-19 pandemic, was pushed from July 1 to July 10.
