The Wonder Twins HBO Max Movie Taps KJ Apa & Isabel May In Lead Roles

The HBO Max Wonder Twins movie has reportedly found its lead stars in KJ Apa and Isabel May. Deadline reports that Apa will play Zan, and May will portray Jayna in the live-action comedy.

The plot for the film is under wraps but will follow Zan and Jayna, the shapeshifting siblings who first appeared on The All-New Super Friends Hour. Adam Sztykiel (Black Adam, Rampage) wrote the film and will direct, with production kicking off this summer in Atlanta.

Apa is best known for playing Archie on Riverdale, and also starred in Songbird, The Hate U Give, A Dog’s Purpose and I Still Believe. May stars in Paramount+’s 1883 as Elsa Dutton. No release date for the Wonder Twins film has been announced.
