Kyle O’Reilly has advanced to the semifinal stage of the ongoing AEW Continental Challenge Cup.

Tonight’s episode of AEW Collision opened with the quarterfinal match between Conglomeration members Kyle ‘O’Reilly and Orange Cassidy.

The final moments of the match saw Cassidy attempt a Beach Break, only for O’Reilly to grab his ankle and apply the Ankle Lock. Cassidy rolled him up, but the latter countered by applying the Ankle Lock again, and this time, he crossed his legs, forcing Cassidy to tap out.

Thanks to this victory, Kyle O’Reilly joins Nigel McGuinness and Continental Champion Jon Moxley in the semifinals. He defeated Roderick Strong in the first-round match last weekend on Collision.
