Backstage Update on Potential Participants in AEW World Trios Championship Match at All In: London

An update on potential teams that may feature in the AEW World Trios Championship match at All In: London.

On this week’s episode of Dynamite, a huge brawl ensued between potential contenders for the Trios Championship, i.e., The Dogs and The Conglomeration, before Page and Brodido showed up. The Demand and The Lethal Twist also showed up on the stage to stake their claims.

Hangaman then issued an open challenge to the entire locker room for the World Trios Championship at the August 30 Wembley event. Later in the show, Swerve Strickland reacted to Page’s challenge, fueling speculations about him partnering Kofi and Austin Creed at All In.

In this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON), Dave Meltzer addressed the situation regarding the Trios Title. Meltzer wrote that apart from the usual suspects, The Demand, The Dogs, The Conglomeration, The Lethal Swirl, and Swerve Strickland, plus two mystery partners, the match may also feature other teams.

Meltzer claimed that The Bang Bang Gang and any three members of The Don Callis Family may also be added to the title match in London.

Meltzer noted that the expectation remains that Strickland’s mystery partners will be the former New Day, Kofi and Austin Creed, though he added that debuting them in a match that features so many other wrestlers is perhaps not the best way to debut them.

"There is no way in hell that we are going to miss Wembley!"
