All Elite Wrestling presented the fourth annual WrestleDream pay-per-view from the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida, last weekend, and a new report has shed light on potential PPV buys.
In this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON) [via WrestlePurists on X], Dave Meltzer reported that AEW WrestleDream looks to be heading into the same direction as Redemption, with PPV buys ranging between 100,000 and 110,000, the lowest number of the year.
WrestleDream was headlined by the first-ever Clockwork Carnage Match, in which Will Ospreay retained the AEW World Championship against seven other participants.
The event also saw Ilja Dragunov make his AEW debut, and Hangman Page and Brodido regained the World Trios Championship from Swerve Strickland and The New Level in a Two out of Three Falls match. According to WrestleTix, the company distributed 6,695 tickets for the Orlando PPV.
