AJ Lee Returns On WWE Raw, Agrees To Face Becky Lynch At Elimination Chamber

AJ Lee made her return to TV on this week’s WWE Raw and accepted a challenge from Becky Lynch for Elimination Chamber. Lee made her return to television on Monday night’s show, appearing backstage with CM Punk in the opening segment.
Lynch noticed Lee backstage and grew livid, at which point she raced to the ring and said she was going to talk about how she was robbed at the Royal Rumble, but was tired of Lee disrespecting her. Lee then came down to the ring and said that she wasn’t there because of Lynch. Rather, she was just trying to support Maxxine Dupri who is facing Nattie on tonight’s show.
Lynch told Lee that she wasn’t buying her act and said Lee was ruining her life. She told Lee to leave her along and threatened to ruin Lee’s life, throwing out a challenge for Elimination Chamber in Lee’s hometown of Chicago.
Lee said that she hadn’t been in a singles match in over a decade, so it would have to be very special and worth it for her. She insinuated that she should get a shot at the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Lynch initially refused that, but relented when Lee said that there would be no match without a title shot. You can see the highlights below.
Lee’s last singles match was on the March 6th, 2015 episode of Raw when she lost a match to Nikki Bella. WWE Elimination Chamber takes place on February 28th from United Center in Chicago and airs live on the ESPN App and Netflix internationally. We’ll have an updated lineup for the PLE after tonight’s Raw.
