AJ Styles Believed To Have Signed New Deal With WWE

PWInsider reports that AJ Styles is believed to have come to terms on a new deal with WWE that will keep him in the company for the foreseeable future. He is now being advertised for May events on the company’s European tour in matches against Samoa Joe, and his current deal was set to expire next month. The two parties have reportedly agreed on “all the major points” for the deal. Some believe that it’s already been signed, although this hasn’t been confirmed.
This comes at a time when WWE is trying to hold onto as much talent as they can, as All Elite Wrestling is starting to gain traction. With Dean Ambrose on his way out of the company and names like TJP and Hideo Itami already gone, WWE can’t afford to lose a name as big as Styles.
Styles is currently set to face Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 35, a match that was made official last week.
