Ava Says Ethan Page Was Her Favorite Person To Work With In NXT

Ava named Ethan Page as her favorite person to work with when she was NXT General Manager. The WWE alumna served as the General Manager of NXT from January 2024 until she left in January of this year.

During that time, Ava butted heads on screen with many of the WWE NXT talent, but perhaps few as often as Page. Ava weighed in on working with Page on What Do You Wanna Talk About? with Cody Rhodes and how she loved working with Page. She also spoke about how she was proud of standing up for her communities on social media despite the blowback that she would get. You can see the highlights below:

“Yes, actually. I feel like every time that I spoke on something — I’m gonna air quote this — ‘controversial’ or that had somewhat of an unpopular opinion. I felt like every time that that happened I got my ass handed to me for it online, but there would be fans that would comment or message me. And they would say, ‘Thank you for speaking up on this, it means so much to us.’ Anytime like that.

On Her Favorite Person To Work With As NXT GM:

“Ethan Page… I felt like Ethan came to NXT at a time where we needed someone like that. We needed someone who was so unapologetic, incredibly sure of themselves, and incredibly entertaining. A little bit of an asshole, but in the best way possible on TV.

“And I always felt like when I worked with Ethan, I was able to bring out a different side of Ava. And I loved going back and forth with Ethan. Off camera? Incredible person, sweetest, adored working with him. But yeah, I would say Ethan was my favorite.”
