Backstage Details On WWE Interest In Richard Holliday

MLW alumnus Richard Holliday is on WWE’s radar, with a new report saying he could well be coming into the company. Fightful Select has the report, noting tht according to sources, Holliday has interest from WWE and that there is an expectation that he could be signed very soon if he hasn’t already done so.

The report, to be clear, does not confirm that Holliday is signed on yet. Holliday is perhaps best known for his run in MLW, where he was part of Dynasty with MJF and Alex Hammerstone. The 34 year-old has worked with a ton of promotions over his 10 year career and is a former MLW World Tag Team Champion, as well as a former MLW Caribbean Heavyweight Champion.

Holliday took time off in late 2022 to be treated for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He has had some tryouts with WWE over the years and was nearly brought in to TNA to be Mr. Elegance.

The report also notes that, as has already been reported ad nauseum, Hiromu Takahashi is expected to come into WWE and most in the company have believed for some time that he will be brought in. No word on when either talent could potentially make their debuts.
