According to a report by The Takedown on Sports Illustrated’s Jon Alba, TNA Wrestling is expressing interest in bringing in indie wrestling star Richard Holliday. The report notes that the wrestler’s name has been brought up frequently in the TNA locker room, and several are said to be pushing for him to be signed by the company to management.

Additionally, it’s said that one pitch made in TNA involved Richard Holliday being revealed as Mr. Elegance, a role that ultimately went to AJZ. It’s unknown if the wrestler has had any formal discussions with TNA, although several people in management and the TNA roster have expressed interest in working with him.

Holliday was previously part of the MLW roster from 2018 to 2024, working as part of The Dynasty stable along with such names as MJF and Alex Hammerstone. Holliday and MJF also became MLW Tag Team Champions, winning the belts from The Hart Foundation in 2019. They later lost the belts to The Von Erichs later in the year.

In 2023, Richard Holliday returned to the ring after his battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Later in the year, he also received a WWE tryout.

TNA Wrestling made its AMC Network debut earlier this week with TNA iMPACT! The company is holding its first pay-per-view event of the year, TNA Genesis, later tonight at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. The recent transition has seen multiple talents exit the company, including The Rascalz and former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, The IInspiration.
