Orange Cassidy Compares The Conglomeration to The Best Friends

During a recent interview with Fightful, AEW star Orange Cassidy compared his partners in The Conglomeration, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong, to his old group, the Best Friends, specifically Trent and Chuck Taylor. Cassidy thinks his new group is a “different type of reliability.”

Orange Cassidy said of his partners, “A different type of reliability. Because when I was with Trent and Chuck, was a different type. That was a
friendship that we had for a very long time. I think friends came before partners. Here, it was like, they were my enemies. Like Kyle debuted in AEW and kneed me in the back of the neck to have Adam Cole win. Like Roddy took my International title from me.”

The wrestler continued, “These are guys that were my sworn enemies, and then when you get to understand who they are as people, we bond over things that have happened to us, and then you realize that like, ‘Oh yeah, I can rely on Roddy and Kyle a different way than I could rely on my other friends.’ I just thought of that all on the spot too. Isn’t that crazy? I had to stop myself. I was like, ‘Stop talking because you’re done.'”

The Conglomeration lost an AEW World Trios Title No. 1 Contenders match last week on AEW Dynamite. Hangman Page and Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) were victorious in the tag team bout.
