Backstage Injury Update on Mini Vikingo After Last Night’s WWE NXT

During this week’s edition of WWE NXT, NXT GM Robert Stone announced that AAA wrestler Mini Vikingo was not cleared to compete. On last week’s NXT TV, Vikingo and Chaz ‘Starboy’ Hall lost their quarterfinals bout in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, losing to the Vanity Project.

There’s now a new injury update on Mini Vikingo from PWInsider Elite (via PWInsider Elite). According to PWInsider’s update, the word backstage is that Vikingo is suffering from an elbow injury.

It’s unknown how severe the injury is or how long it will put Vikingo out of action. Additionally, it’s unknown what plans WWE might have for Vikingo in NXT beyond a six-man tag team bout that GM Robert Stone mentioned on last night’s show.
