A new report has some additional details on The IInspiration joining the AEW roster, including when they signed on with the company. As noted, Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee made their debuts at the AEW House Rules show on Sunday and are reportedly signed to multi-year contracts.
According to Fightful Select, the tag team were locked into contracts with AEW nearly a month ago. The two finished up with TNA at the TNA Impact premiere on AMC, dropping the Knockouts Tag Team Championships to The Elegance Brand. They are believed to have signed soon after.
The contracts for the two were up around the time of TNA Bound For Glory and had been working without deals ever since then. The site reports that their exit from TNA was amicable and sources in WWE said that previously that if they didn’t show up at the Royal Rumble on January 31st, they were probably headed to AEW.
AEW has been reported as making several signings that have yet to be revealed yet. The IInspiration are one example of that, as is Lena Kross who debuted at Grand Slam Australia as an ally of Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford.
Finally, the note makes the side not that Harley Cameron is the lyricist on the theme that The IInspiration have used for many years.
