Becky Lynch Was Inspired By Stephanie McMahon To Take Daughter On The Road

Becky Lynch says that she was comfortable taking her daughter on the road with WWE because she had seen Stephanie McMahon do it. Lynch and Seth Rollins have raised their daughter while managing their careers in WWE, with Lynch returning in August of 2021 at WWE SummerSlam after giving birth in December of 2020.

Lynch appeared on the Happy Mum Podcast and spoke about her decision to raise their daughter on the road and how Stephanie McMahon and Triple H made her think it was possible.

“I figured that it would all just work out,” Lynch said (per Fightful). “We’d figure it out and I’d just take her. I would just take her everywhere we went. I’m not the first person to do this because Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, she had three kids and I think she was the originator of taking the kids on the road with her.”

She continued, “Obviously, [Stephanie] wasn’t on all of the live events like I was, so they weren’t making every single show but she had done it. I had never seen it firsthand, but I knew that she did. So, you know, if she could do it, maybe I could do it.”

Lynch took another hiatus from June 2024 to January of 2025, letting her contract expire and taking time to be at home with her daughter.
