Becky Lynch & Kevin Owens Congratulate Sami Zayn on His WWE Title Win in New Backstage Video

WWE released a heartwarming video clip, showing newly crowned WWE Undisputed Champion Sami Zayn being congratulated backstage by his friends, fellow WWE colleagues Becky Lynch and Kevin Owens.

Zayn warmly embraces Owens when he sees him backstage, and the group also sees Zayn get his new WWE t-shirt that says, “Undisputed WWE Champion. The Last Real Good Guy.”

Sami Zayn won a Triple Threat Match against former champion Cody Rhodes and Gunther last weekend at WWE Night of Champions 2026, winning the first WWE Title of his long in-ring career. Owens and Zayn have been friends for over 24 years, coming up together in the indie wrestling scene before eventually joining WWE, where they worked against each other multiple times and eventually became WWE Tag Team Champions.
