Booker T Is Puzzled By LA Knight’s Booking, Hopes He Gets His Big Push

On the latest episode of The Hall of Fame, Booker T shared his confusion over how LA Knight has been used, while holding out hope for a big moment. Knight is consistently one of WWE’s more popular stars in the arenas, but he has yet to World Championship in the company regularly being in the title picture. You can check out his comments below:
On Knight’s Booking
“It’s hard for me to put a finger on what’s going on with LA Knight, as far as why he hasn’t been a guy they’d pull the trigger on. I don’t know man, and I don’t book the shows — that’s one of the reasons I try not to. A guy like LA Knight, you’ve got to do something with him, because like we’re talking about — expiration dates, that’s going to run out on him.
“If we don’t do something with LA Knight and do something big with it — but then again, maybe it’s going to be one of those shocking moments where people go, ‘Man, finally!’ when he does cash in. So I don’t know. I’m hoping for LA Knight to get his shine, get his big push.”
On Eddie Guerrero Napping Before Matches:
“Eddie would look so tired before he’d walk out of that curtain. I’d see him in the back, over in the corner taking a nap. He was asleep, and then that music would play? ‘Bang,’ and he’d go out, and you never would know it. You never saw it. That’s the performer — to go out there and leave you with the ultimate memory.
“It’s just like going to a convention. I always say, I’m going to be dealing with a lot of fans throughout the day. And it’s not my memory; it’s their memory, and it’s my job to make sure I leave them with a good memory, no matter what I’m going through in my personal life. I could really be going through some tough things, but it’s still my job to make them feel a certain way. And it could be really, really hard to find those places and go to those places. It really is.”
