Update On WWE Creative Plans For LA Knight

LA Knight has been off of TV for a few weeks after being taken out by The Vision, and a new report has some details on creative plans for him. The December 8th episode of WWE Raw saw Bronson Reed and Logan Paul take out Knight in an injury angle that wrote the babyface off the show. Knight has not been back since, though it was reported that WWE is positioning Knight for a top babyface role in 2026.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Knight is scheduled for the Royal Rumble. He is, unsurprisingly, planned to feud with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed upon his return. The report notes that it’s not clear if Knight will be back before the Rumble in order to announce he is in the match.

In a related note, Fightful Select issued a correction on the report that Knight was brought to Germany for this week’s Raw. The correction notes that Knight was listed on some internal travel plans for Monday’s show, but was not actually brought over. The report adds that he is still listed for Royal Rumble week.

The WWE Royal Rumble takes place on January 31st in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The PLE will air live on the ESPN App in the US and Netflix internationally.
