On the latest episode of The Hall of Fame, Booker T opened up after hearing Big E speak about his struggles, sharing his own experience with the disconnect between money and happiness. Big E. has spoken often about his struggles with depression and more. You can check out his comments below:

On Big E’s Comments:

“I was reading the story about Big E, and I totally can relate with him. Depression is something I think everybody goes through, just because of this thing called life — trying to get up and go through this daily routine of life. Just like Big E was saying, he thought everything was fine. He was making money, the checks were there. You sign another contract and the check gets bigger, everything’s good, but there’s still something missing. I remember when I was making my most money, I was my most miserable. I totally can relate with Big E.”

On What He Changed:

“For me, I stopped putting money at the top of the list because it didn’t make me happy. As much money as I was making, I wasn’t happy — it just wasn’t what made me tick. I had to figure out man, if you ain’t got nobody to share it with — I was single, there were a lot of things going on. I could totally relate with Big E being a guy that’s in the spotlight but being just like everybody else, having struggles. Because we’re human, we’re no different. For him to be able to share that story may help someone that’s in that same position he’s been in.”
