Brie Bella Would Love a Final Singles Run In WWE

Brie Bella has been competing in the women’s tag team division since her WWE return, and she says she would “love” a last singles run. Bella made her return at the Royal Rumble. Since then, she has teamed with her sister Nikki and then, after Nikki went down to injury, became WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Paige.

The two lost the titles at Saturday Night’s Main Event to Fatal Influence. Speaking with the Sal Licata Show at the event, Bella was asked about a potential return to singles action.

“I would love that,” Brie said (per Fightful). “You know, like being with Paige has been one of the greatest blessings. I was really bummed out when Nikki broke her ankle, especially it was two weeks before WrestleMania. I was like, ‘oh no.’ But then having Paige step in, being my tag partner, because we’ve been like sisters. It’s crazy.”

She continued, “With WWE, you’re always going to be part of this family. But Paige, we go way back. Been blessed with that. But I would love to do a single run. I would love to go for one of the titles, whatever title that I could fit into. I mean, I think that’s the way you end it.”

Bella is a former WWE Divas Champion, having held the title for 70 days back in 2011.
