Fatal Influence Defeats Paige & Brie Bella to Capture WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event: NYC

Make way for the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Tonight’s edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event at The Garden in New York City saw Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid challenge Paige and Brie Bella for tag team gold.

The closing moments of the match saw decisive interference from Jacy Jayne. The former NXT Women’s Champion first distracted the referee to allow Henley to level Paige with a Lariat. Later, Lainey Reid went shoulder-first into a ring post. Paige attempted to Suplex Reid, but Henley prevented her from the outside.

However, Brie took out Henley at the ringside. Paige attempted the rollup pin, but Jacy Jayne hopped up, leading to Reid pinning Paige and bringing the Women’s Tag Team Championship to Fatal Influence.

Paige and Brie Bella’s reign ends at 91 days. They won the title in a Fatal Four-Way match at WrestleMania 42. This is Fatal Influence’s first championship reign on the main roster.
