Bronson Reed Discusses His Weight Loss Since Return To WWE

Bronson Reed is back on WWE TV, and he spoke about his weight loss in a video blog posted after his return at Sunday Night’s Main Event. Reed made his return on last night’s Peacock special and reunited with The Vision after he and Bron Breakker assaulted Oba Femi.

Reed has cut down his weight since he made his return to WWE in late 2022, and he spoke in the vlog about his weight loss. The video was recorded before his return, and he talks about working out at WWE Headquarters and using his time off as motivation for getting into a new shape. You can see the highlights below:

On Getting Into Ring Shape at WWE HQ:

“I think the benefit of working out in headquarters here is, I have my setup in my garage gym — which is incredible. But there’s just so many different machines that your workout feels different, which is always good to shock the muscles. So, I haven’t used this machine in a long time, since I’ve been injured because I’ve been rear delts doing using my cable machine, so I’m excited to do stuff like this.”

On His Weight Loss:

“By the time I’m back, I’ll probably be around 270 — 265 to 270 pounds. And at my heaviest — when I came back to WWE at the end of 2022 — I was 365 pounds. So you’re looking at about 90 to 100 pound difference since then to now, so in the last 3-4 years. I feel like if you don’t evolve, you die. So, especially in this business, you have to keep moving with the times. And I’m watching wrestling all the time. And I think that puts me in the mood to have a target and a goal of what I want to do.

“I even think of it as someone’s taking my spot, you know what I mean? So, I need to make sure I’m on top of my game. In this business, people will take your spot straight away, and that’s just how it is. You have to be prepared for that. So that’s sort of the mindset.”
