Brooks Jensen says that Vince McMahon vowed to sign him when he was just a baby based on how much he weighed. The WWE EVOLVE and NXT talent is the son of WWE alumnus Bull Buchanan and joined with WWE Performance Center in August of 2021 at the age of 20.

Jensen appeared on The AJ Styles Show and during the conversation, he was asked if wrestling has always been what he wanted to do. He said that it was and recalled how the day he was born, his dad spoke with Vince McMahon on the phone which led to McMahon saying “When he turns 18, we’ll sign him.”

“It’s always been my thing,” Jensen said (per Fightful). “There was never a second option. Literally, the day I was born, my dad and my godfather, Big Bossman, came to the hospital and my dad got the call from Vince McMahon and he was like, ‘Congrats on the baby. How is he?’”

He continued, “My dad told him how much I weighed; I forgot the exact number, but he heard the weight and was like, ‘Well, when he turns 18, we’ll sign him.’ Since day one, I’ve been destined to be in this.”

Jensen, best known for his run in NXT with Fallon Henley and Josh Briggs, had his first tryout at 18 and was signed at 19.
