Carmelo Hayes Shares Image of Steph Curry Sitting on Bench & Looking Unhappy

WWE Superstar Carmelo Hayes shared an image that possibly indicates he’s not happy with his current role and lack of airtime in WWE. During last night’s WWE SmackDown, Curry shared an image on his X account of NBA player Steph Curry sitting on the bench and looking unhappy.
Some days earlier, Hayes also reposted a fan meme that mentions “Carmelo Hayes disappearing before every big PLE after being highlight of the show for months.”
Hayes was looking to earn a title shot against reigning US Champion Trick Williams on WWE SmackDown and faced his former tag team partner in a non-title bout on SmackDown last month. However, the match was interrupted by the returning Baron Corbin, who attacked both Williams and Hayes.
Although Hayes was previously vying for a title shot against Williams, it’s Corbin who will be facing the champ for the title at SummerSlam later this weekend. Meanwhile, Hayes did not appear during last night’s SmackDown broadcast.
Hayes’ last televised match was a Main Event bout against Ricky Saints, which he won, earlier this week. You can view Hayes’ comments below:
