Celebration Of Life For Andy ‘The Butcher’ Williams Set For Later This Month

A celebration of life will be held for AEW alumnus Andy Williams, aka The Butcher, later this month in Buffalo, New York. It was announced on Wednesday that the celebration of life is set to take place on September 27th at Buffalo River Works in the city.

The announcement notes that admission is free and asks people to reserve a ticket in advance in order to allow the organizers to plan appropriately. The event will include live acoustic tributes by Stephen Brodsky and Adam McGrath of Cave In, Dan O’Connor and Alan Day of Four Year Strong, Anthony Green and more.

Williams, who worked in the ring as The Butcher, passed away on Saturday night at the age of 48 after he collapsed following a match at an independent event. He was 48 years old.
