Chelsea Green Reportedly Suffers Injury on SmackDown

Interim WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green reportedly suffered an injury on last night’s SmackDown.

As noted, Green and Tiffany Stratton challenged Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid for the Women’s Tag Team Championship on last night’s show. The match ended with Henley pinning Chelsea.

Earlier today, Bryan Alvarez reported to his X subscribers that Green suffered an injury during last night’s match. However, he didn’t reveal further details about the alleged injury.

Here’s what he wrote [per F4WOnline]:

“Chelsea Green was injured during the match on SmackDown last night. We don’t know the exact injury at this point, but hopefully she won’t be out of action too long.”

Green won the Interim WWE Women’s Championship in a Ladder Match at SummerSlam: Minnesota last weekend. With current champion Rhea Ripley recently undergoing knee surgery, there was a belief that Chelsea would be acknowledged as a full-time Women’s Champion moving forward. Green and WWE have yet to comment on the alleged injury.
