Chelsea Green Confronted By Fatal Influence During Title Celebration On WWE Smackdown

Chelsea Green’s Interim WWE Women’s Title Celebration on WWE Smackdown ended up crashed by Fatal Influence. Friday night’s episode of WWE Smackdown saw Green come out for a celebration segment of her Women’s Championship win at SummerSlam. The segment featured Green thanking the fans for their support before bringing out Tiffany Stratton.

Green apologized for costing Stratton the title during the match but said that their friendship was strong. Stratton said she wanted to talk to Green about something, but Fatal Influence came down to the ring.

Jacy Jayne expressed frustration at the segment and said that if it wasn’t for Stratton, she would be WWE Women’s Champion. Fallon Henley complained about Green representing Smackdown, and Green said that she’s trying to celebrate the moment. Jayne said that she wanted to take Stratton’s WWE Women’s United States Championship, to which Stratton agreed to a title match if Henley and Lainey Reid would put their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on the line tonight.

The match took place right after, with Fatal Influence getting the win in just under eight minutes after Jayne got involved. You can see clips from the segment and match below.
