During a recent interview with K&S WrestleFest, former AEW star Max Caster praised his former AEW boss Tony Khan for financially supporting wrestlers and the wrestling business. He also spoke about possibly returning to AEW at some point, saying, “never say never.”
Caster recently exited AEW. He wrestled one match for TNA Wrestling at Bound for Glory. Below are some highlights (via Fightful):
Max Caster on Tony Khan
“I always gotta shout out Tony Khan, because he’s supporting a lot of wrestlers living right now… including me. I’m still living off AEW money… That’s a guy who, for whatever reason in his heart, is supporting wrestling and supporting wrestlers.”
On a Potential Return to AEW<?h2>
“It’s wrestling, right? You never say never. However, I am saying no to wrestling bookings right now, and that would be a wrestling booking, so, I don’t know.”
On Agreeing To the Virtual Signing Before the Bound for Glory Incident
“I agreed to do the virtual signing a couple months ago, I think. I’m honoring this… especially because we know Brian (Myers). I gotta respect Brian too, so this is my last wrestling thing for a while, so whoever’s here, I’m sure somebody is clipping this, waiting for me to say something crazy. I’m gonna try not to today. But this will be the last time you guys see me for an undefined amount of time.”
As previously noted, Max Caster recently stated that he’s taking a hiatus from the ring and undergoing therapy.
