Chris Jericho Reportedly Not Brought Up Creatively In WWE Yet, More On AEW Status

A new report has added detail to speculation that Chris Jericho is not showing up at WWE Raw tonight and doesn’t seem to be with the company, at least yet. As reported earlier, Jericho is not believed to be at tonight’s show and is still listed on the AEW roster page. This is despite Adam Pearce making an overt reference to Jericho in his Raw preview video on Sunday.

Fightful Select had added some detail to the situation. The outlet makes it clear they have not reported nor confirmed that Jericho will be at Raw or even back in WWE yet. The site has collated some background from their previous reporting, while also making it clear that Jericho has not been seen at the venue of tonight’s Raw and has not yet been brought up creatively in the company including for tonight.

The report notes that Jericho last re-signed with AEW after All Out 2022. There’s been no indication that his deal was extended or frozen. Jericho is still listed on the roster page, and AEW is usually very prompt with said page. and the site notes a number of people in AEW got memos about Mercedes Martinez, Matt Taven and Alex Abrahantes’ deals expiring. There has been no memo sent out regarding Jericho. AEW reps have yet to respond to questions about Jericho’s contract status.

Jericho is still said to have a great relationship with AEW. AEW is however said to be very aware that the audience has grown tired of Jericho. His absence from AEW was said to be attributable to the audience reaction to him.
