*Welcome, tonight’s WWE Smackdown is in Buffalo, NY.  As far as I can find, there have been no announced matches prior to the show.

*We get a tribute image to the late great Dusty Rhodes before the opening video.

*Sheamus starts the show with a promo. He thanks the crowd for mildly booing him and says the fans chanted “You look stupid!” He belittles them for that being the best they can do. He calls them narrow minded and asks how stupid does he look now, while he holds up the Money in the Bank briefcase. He said he feels like more than a million dollars and is one opportunity away from becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He says if anyone thinks they can stand in his way, what happened to Orton on Raw (complete with a recap video!) will happen to them. He said he’s going to beat Rollins, the Authority and Brock Lesnar. He says nobody is going to stand in his way returning to the top of the WWE. He promises everyone that they will be entertained. That’s probably because Ambrose comes out to a big pop. He says he doesn’t speak Irish gibberish. He says he already stopped Sheamus by pinning him on Raw. He mentions if it wasn’t for Wyatt, Roman Reigns would be holding the briefcase. He challenges Sheamus to a match and says he’ll take his briefcase and give it to it’s rightful owner. They tease a match for the briefcase a bit more, and Sheamus says if he wants it, to come in and take it. Sheamus says he doesn’t have the stones to step inside the ring with him. HERE COMES KANE!  Nobody is stealing anything tonight he says. Dean likes to cause trouble and make life difficult, but he’s not good at following through. Kane books a handicap match with himself and Sheamus vs Dean Ambrose right….now!

*Dean Ambrose vs Kane and Sheamus

I think we all know where this match is headed. The bell rings and Ambrose goes outside and leans against the barricade before Sheamus chases him and he runs into the ring. Ambrose ducks a clothesline from Kane and dropkicks Sheamus off the apron. Kane goes for a chokeslam, but Ambrose knocks him over the top rope. Sheamus attacks, but Ambrose hits a forearm on Sheamus and then hits a suicide dive on Kane.  Ambrose goes to the top, but Kane knocks him down. Sheamus and Kane stomp away on Ambrose in the corner and Roman Reigns’ music hits. Out comes Reigns who clears house for the DQ.

Winners: Kane and Sheamus in 1:28

*We get a recap of Rollins vs Ambrose from Money in the Bank. Followed by hype for the recap of Brock Lesnar’s return from Monday.

*Brie Bella is on her way to the ring for her match next.

*Back from break we get hype for tonight’s main event, which of course…

Is Roman and Dean vs Kane and Sheamus.

*Renee talks to Roman and Dean backstage. Roman has a message for Bray, he doesn’t run. He never has and never will.

*Paige vs Brie Bella

Paige is already in the ring as Brie makes her entrance. We get a quick recap from Monday when Paige tried to recruit the divas against the Bellas. They lock up and Brie pushes Paige into the corner and follows with a bulldog for two. Dropkick by Brie followed by an irish whip reversed by Paige. Paige lays down and trips Brie, followed by a knee by Paige for a one count. Dropkick by Brie followed by a dropkick by Paige. Strikes in the corner from Paige as she sets Brie on the top rope. She climbs for a superplex, but Brie fights it off and and hits a sunset powerbomb for two as we go to commercial.

Back from break, Brie is kneeing Paige in the back and covers for a two count. Neckbreaker by Brie gets another two count. Chinlock by Brie does not get the tap out as Paige escapes, but Brie knees her in the stomach and tosses her into the corner. Strikes by Brie until the referee makes her back out. She charges, but Paige moves and hits a few elbows and knees. Paige ducks a clothesline and hits a superkick that sends Brie out of the ring. Cannonball senton by Paige off the apron takes them both out. Back inside, Paige goes up top as the ref tends to an “injured” Brie Bella. In that time, Alicia Fox came down and shoved Paige off the top rope, allowing Brie to hit the Bella Buster for the win.

Winner: Brie Bella at 4:22

*We get a quick recap of Owens vs Cena from Money in the Bank, followed by Kevin Owens’ attack on Machine Gun Kelly on Raw. Kevin Owens is with Renee Young backstage. Owens asks if she’s a MGK fan. He says he already apologized and got carried away. He says none of that would have happened if MGK didn’t put his hands on him first. Owens blames it on John Cena. He says if Cena had been there, none of this would have happened. Renee asks about the open challenge with Dolph Ziggler from Monday and him making it a non-title match. Owens says it doesn’t matter, because he beat him. He makes Renee say that he beat him as well. He’s not John Cena. He doesn’t need to pander to the crowd. He likes when people earn their title matches. He wants to make it clear: there will be no NXT Open Challenge. Cesaro walks up. He doesn’t understand the hype and all he sees is “Talk Owens Talk.” He said the Twitter apology was cute. He says whenever he’s done talking to step in the ring with the king of swing. Looks like we have a match later. Cesaro’s promo being short and sweet was perfect for him. Looks like he’s been working on his delivery, hopefully it wasn’t a one-time thing.

*We get a recap of Dolph Ziggler vs Kane from two weeks ago, where Lana was chased off the entrance ramp by Rusev.

*Dolph Ziggler vs Bo Dallas

Bo cuts a promo before the match. He says it breaks his heart to see Lana like this, but not as much as it breaks Rusev heart. She left her man in his darkest hour with a broken heart, body and soul. He calls it despicable and calls Dolph the worst rebound ever and if Dolph’s profile popped up, he’d swipe left. He says a real man is out there somewhere, Lana, all she has to do is Bo-lieve.

They start off quick with Dolph hitting a drop kick but then missing a corner splash. Bo hits a few strikes and a short arm clothesline for a quick count. Bo locks in a cravate, but Ziggler starts fighting out before Bo hits a series of knees and throws Ziggler to the mat. Bo does a victory lap around the inside of the ring and goes for another short-arm clothesline, but Ziggler ducks it and hits the Zig-Zag for a quick win.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler in 1:10

*Lana and Ziggler kiss after the match as Rusev looks on from backstage and curses at the television.

*We get hype for the main event tonight.

*Tough Enough hype time.

*Xavier Woods vs Neville

They start with Neville being distracted for a second and Woods hitting a big forearm and then just stomping away for damn near 20 seconds. Fist drop by Woods gets a one count. Woods locks on a cobra clutch and Neville escapes with an arm drag before sending Woods to the outside. Moonsault plancha by Neville. He goes to pick up Woods before Big E and Kofi start approaching him. Prime Time Players come to his aid and Neville goes back in the ring to get rolled up by Woods for two. Woods takes a boot in the corner by Neville who goes for a Red Arrow, but is thwarted by Woods. Kofi goes to crossbody Titus off the apron, but Titus catches him and tosses him into the barricade.  Big E then takes out Titus with a clothesline and Darren Young just floors Big E with a right hand. High kick to Woods followed by a Red Arrow in the ring gets Neville the win.

Winner: Neville in 2:56

*A recap from Lesnar’s return is hyped as well as Rollins’ reaction to it after the break.

*Seth Rollins comes out. We get a recap of Brock Lesnar’s return from Monday where it was revealed Rollins will defend the WWE Heavyweight Championship against Brock Lesnar at WWE Battleground.  Rollins says he’s the biggest star in WWE. He’s the WWE Champion and he’s the undisputed future of the wrestling industry. He knows none of the fans will understand what it’s like to be in that situation. 24/7 Rollins is under the most intense scrutiny imaginable. Everything he does is magnified (insert your pic joke here) for everyone to see. He says the disrespect has been taken to a whole different level. When he heard Brock’s music, he was shocked. Brock was the last person he expected to name. The last time we saw Brock he was assaulting employees, but as he walked down the ramp and circled the ring, that shock turned into understanding. Rollins understands there’s no other way, this is how it has to be. He’s beaten everybody else, for him to cement his legacy, he has to defeat Brock Lesnar. The same Lesnar that conquered the streak. The same one who took Reigns and Cena to Suplex City. He stood toe to toe with Rollins and he did nothing. Rollins says Lesnar remembers Wrestlemania. He remembers better than anybody how dangerous Rollins can be. He says he would have knocked Lesnar’s teeth down his throat and ruined Lesnar’s mystique forever. He says he is the diamond Triple H thinks he is, and he’ll shine brighter than he ever has at Battleground. Rollins says he can’t wait for Battleground and drops the mic.

*We get another recap from Monday with Roman challenging Bray, and Bray’s promo. Roman is backstage and Ambrose is excited for this match tonight. Roman is just staring in the distance. Ambrose makes sure he’s on his A-game. Ambrose brings up Wyatt’s name and Roman gets pissy about Ambrose mentioning him and says let’s handle business tonight.

*Kevin Owens vs Cesaro

Owens makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial. Back from break and we get a “did you know?” That finally tells me what award the WWE Network won- the Gold Clio Sports Award. Okay then. Cesaro comes out and does some weird dance-like moves on his way to the ring.  They start with Cesaro rolling up Owens for two. Owens fights back with strikes and goes into a headlock. Whip by Cesaro and a shoulder tackle by Owens for a one count. Strikes by Owens and a whip reversed by Cesaro who ducks down, gets kicked in the face, and then clotheslines Owens. Owens rolls outside and Cesaro hits a suicide dive that nearly kills him. Owens leans up near the time keeper’s area and and Cesaro hits a big uppercut. Back inside, Owens tries to suplex Cesaro into the ring. When that doesn’t work he hits a couple forearms and goes to clothesline him, but Cesaro hits a clothesline from the apron. Owens throws him into the ring post and Cesaro goes to the floor as we go to commercial.

Back from break, Owens has a sleeper on Cesaro. He fights out and ducks a clothesline before hitting a springboard uppercut from the second rope. Owens gets up first and Cesaro hits a series of strikes. He whips Owens into the corner but eats an elbow before Owens hits a spring board Tornado DDT from the second rope for two. Owens goes for Cesaro’s Neutralizer, but Cesaro reverses it and goes for the Cesaro Swing, but Owens escapes only to get hit with the Alpamare Waterslide by Cesaro for two. Both men are slow to get up, but Cesaro hits a few big uppercuts in the corner and charges for one last big one, but Owens kicks out of a pin at two. Owens flapjacks Cesaro into the corner and hits a big German suplex followed by the cannonball in the corner for a near fall. Owens heads to the top rope and goes for the Swanton, but Cesaro gets up and they exchange strikes. Cesaro hits a big uppercut and climbs to the middle rope. He goes for a superplex, but Owens reverses and goes for that twisting Fisherman superplex, but Cesaro falls out and dropkicks Owens off the top rope.Owens is on the apron and Cesaro goes to superplex him into the ring, but Owens crotches him on the top rope. Cesaro falls into the ring. A whip into the ropes and a Pop-Up Powerbomb get Owens the win.

Winner: Kevin Owens in 7:08

Ambrose ducks a clothesline and goes with some headbutts and punches. Snapmare by Sheamus and a kick to the back. They trade strikes after that until Sheamus attacks the bad knee of Ambrose and hits a knee to the face. He chokes him in the ropes and Ambrose stumbles into the corner. He hits a kick to the gut and starts pounding away. Sheamus fights back and hits a clothesline for two. Whip by Sheamus, Ambrose ducks a clothesline and hits a crossbody. Kane pushes Ambrose into the corner and tries to tie the bad leg up in the ropes. Ambrose tries to fight back, but Kane hits him a few times and stops that. Kane drags Ambrose to the corner and tags in Sheamus who puts Ambrose in the Stretch Muffler. Ambrose tries to fight out of it and actually hits a hurricanrana on Sheamus that sends him to the outside. Sheamus slides in and hits a chop block on the bad knee as Dean was going for the tag to Roman. Kane tags in and chokes Ambrose in the bottom rope. Kane hits a slingshot that guillotines Ambrose in the bottom rope and then knocks Dean into the corner. Ambrose fights back, but Kane tosses him over the top rope. Ambrose lands on the apron and guillotines Kane on the top rope. He goes up top and hits the elbow drop that takes out Kane. Hot tag to Roman as Sheamus comes in as well. Roman hits his clotheslines before taking a boot from Sheamus. Sheamus tried a tilt-a-whirl powerslam, but Roman tossed him into the corner and hit his clothesline. Kane tried to get involved, but Roman took him out. Roman got rolled up by Sheamus for two followed by a Samoan Drop by Roman. Reigns called for the Superman Punch, but Kane intercepted it. He grabs Ambrose by the throat as well and tosses Ambrose away, but Ambrose hits a rebound lariat before taking a Brogue Kick. Roman ducks a Brogue Kick and hits a Superman Punch on Sheamus. He sets up for the spear before Wyatt appears on the big screen singing his nursery rhyme to distract Roman. Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick for the win.

Winners: Sheamus and Kane in 9:50

*After the match, Sheamus leaves and is celebrating on the ramp as Bray says “Happy Father’s Day, Roman…RUN!” The lights go out and when they come back on,  the picture of Roman with his daughter is next to Roman in the ring. Roman has a very concerned look on his face as Smackdown goes off the air.
