CM Punk Announced for This Week’s WWE SmackDown

CM Punk just won the WWE Undisputed Championship last night on WWE Raw following a surprise return, so what’s next for him? Well, Punk’s not going to Disneyland, but he is going to Oklahoma City for Friday Night SmackDown.

Just announced by WWE, CM Punk will be in Oklahoma City for SmackDown on Friday. The announcement reads, “🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨 New Undisputed WWE Champion @CMPunk will be live in Oklahoma City this Friday!”

Punk served as a last-minute surprise replacement for Cody Rhodes against Sami Zayn on Monday Night Raw. He subsequently beat Zayn to regain the belt. Punk attending SmackDown will likely shed more light on what’s next for him heading into this year’s SummerSlam premium live event.

Tomorrow’s WWE SmackDown is being held at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. The show will air live on USA Network starting at 8:00 pm ET. Here’s the updated lineup:

* CM Punk to be in attendance
