CM Punk, Cody Rhodes & More Announced For Tonight’s WWE Smackdown

WWE is finally filling out the card for tonight’s WWE Smackdown with Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, another SummerSlam qualifying match and more. As noted, WWE only had one match announced as of the start of the day for tonight’s show. The company rectified that this afternoon, announcing in their official Smackdown preview that Punk and Rhodes will be on hand following their altercation at Saturday Night’s Main Event after they defeated Sami Zayn and Gunther.

Also announced for tonight’s show is Gunther. The Career Killer will address his announced match with Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis for SummerSlam, which was made made official on Sunday. Finally, Chelsea Green will face Kiana James in a qualifying match for the Interim WWE Women’s Championship ladder match at SummerSlam.

Tonight’s episode of WWE Smackdown takes place from the Oakland Arena in Oakland, California and airs live on USA Network in the US, and Netflix internationally. You can see the updated card below:
