Conor McGregor is making his big return to UFC on July 11, where he will face Max Holloway in a fight mixed martial arts fans have been looking forward to for years. McGregor is known for talking trash about everybody & everything, which has garnered him a ton of attention and made him one of UFC’s most marketable stars. It’s also made Conor McGregor a name that always gets brought up when wrestling fans speculate about professional athletes appearing in WWE or pro wrestling in general someday. Despite his apparent lack of interest, it still gets brought up from time to time.

McGregor’s return had been speculated for the UFC’s White House event when the endeavor was first announced, but Conor opted to wait a couple of weeks afterward. (It’s also smarter to have his return on an event that needs it to draw more interest.) McGregor was watching the event last night though, and he had some comments on the featuring of WWE Superstars in attendance.

After asking who Roman Reigns was, McGregor went further with his statements against wrestlers appearing all over the UFC event at the apparent expense of UFC fighters.

”The platforming of our athletes within the business was not capitalised on enough in my opinion. I don’t know who the f*** these guys are that have never fought MMA yet were visibly all over the show.”

Conor McGregor’s statements last night will surely be responded to by WWE Superstars throughout today on social media and might be addressed on WWE Raw tonight, which airs at 8 PM Eastern on Netflix live from Baltimore, MD.
