Kevin Owens & Natalya vs. Braun Strowman & Ember Moon: Kevin & Braun to start. They argue and Kevin tags in Natalya so she and Moon to begin. They lock up and they work to the ground, and then back to the feet. Natalya now grounds the action, Moon escapes and they work into a stand off. Natalya cuts off the tag; Moon gets a cradle for 2 and then a RANA for 2. Kevin keeps talking trash as Moon controls; heads up top and Natalya cuts her off. The powerbomb and sharpshooter follows. Moon fights, looks for a tag, Braun tries to rally her and Moon makes the ropes but Natalya pulls her back center. Braun reaches in for the save and tag, and runs wild on Levin. Kevin to the floor, and Braun mows him over with a shoulder tackle to the barricade. Kevin hits a desperation superkick, posts Brain and slams him over the announce table. Braun beats the count and eats a superkick and then cuts off the cannonball and Braun pummels him. Wholesale changes to Moon and Natalya, Moon hits an enziguri. Braun takes out Kevin and Moon hits the eclipse off of Braun’s shoulders for the win. Braun Strowman & Ember Moon defeated Kevin Owens & Natalya @ 7:25 via pin [**¾] This was a pretty good and fun match, plus I got my eclipse off the shoulders spot I wanted. Poor Kevin just can’t get away from Braun.
– Next week, Lashley & Banks vs. Fox & Mahal.
AJ Styles & Charlotte vs. Naomi & Jimmy Uso: Charlotte got beat down at the end of Smackdown and Styles had a match with Almas, so they are coming in not at 100%. Jimmy & Naomi always look so happy. Styles and Jimmy to begin. They lock up and Jimmy hits a shoulder tackle. He follows with arm drags and they work into a stand off. They both look for kicks, catch them and do the agree to let go at 3 spot. They shake hands and then won’t let go. Charlotte & Naomi tag in. They lock up and Naomi cuts off Charlotte with kicks until Charlotte cuts her off and shakes her ass at Naomi. Naomi fights back and picks up several near falls and connects with a split leg drop for 2. Naomi dumps Charlotte, Styles checks on her and then catches the Naomi plancha Jimmy arrives and yells at him for putting hands on his wife. Charlotte then wipes out the Usos with a plancha. Naomi back in with a head kick and covers for 2. Charlotte lays in chops, but Naomi hits a soul food variation and slaps the shit out of Charlotte. The split legged moonsault misses and Charlotte then hits a moonsault for 2. They work into a double down and that leads to wholesale changes to Jimmy & Styles. Styles takes control with strikes and an ushigoroshi for 2. Jimmy fights off the clash into a Samoan drop. Jimmy hits an enziguri, Styles hits a PELE and Naomi tags in and hits a RANA. Charlotte dumps her and figure fours Jimmy. Naomi flies in with a splash onto Charlotte and Styles makes the save. Rear view in Styles, Charlotte takes down Naomi and finishes her with the figure eight. AJ Styles & Charlotte defeated Naomi & Jimmy Uso @ 9:48 via submission [***¼] This was a good, fun, and playful match that succeeded because everyone played their roles well and made it not feel like a regular WWE match. Good times.
