Danhausen Says Detroit Sports Teams Have To Earn Their Uncursing

Danhausen is open to using his cursing talents to help his hometown sports teams in Detroit, but they have to meet him halfway. The WWE star has used his curse in big ways of late, notably uncursing the New York Knicks before they went on a big run to win the NBA Finals. Then just yesterday, he cursed Argentina and they lost in the World Cup finals.

Danhausen said before Saturday Night’s Main Event that he would consider uncursing the sports teams of Detroit, which is his hometown. He will be appearing in front of them on tonight’s episode of Raw. But he noted in an interview with The Detroit News that he has a condition first. You can see the highlights below:

On Performing In In Front of His Hometown Crowd:

“This is the dream. We’ve done WrestleMania, Madison Square Garden two nights ago, and now right to follow that up, Danhausen gets to come home to Detroit.”

On Potentially Using the Curse to Help Detroit’s Sports Teams:

“We’ll get to it, we’ll get to it. Not yet, you’ve gotta earn it a little bit. How bout you meet Danhausen halfway, get to the playoffs, and then we’ll talk.”
