Deonna Purrazzo Says She & Britt Baker Have Wanted a Match ‘For So Long’

Deonna Purrazzo is excited to see Britt Baker back on AEW TV, hoping that they can get the match they’ve been wanting to have. Baker made her return to the company’s TV after going on two years at AEW All In, showing up to help her new ally Persephone win the TBS Championship from Maya World.

The return was one that excited Purrazzo, as she noted in response to a fan on Twitter. Purrazzo had asked fans to share their dream Pure Rules matches. The fan shared a GIF of Baker, to which Purrazzo replied:

“We’ve wanted this for SO long”

Purrazzo is the inaugural and current ROH Women’s Pure Champion, having held the title for 275 days. She last defended the title against Steph De Lander at ROH Death Before Dishonor on August 21st.

No word as of yet on when/if Baker and Purrazzo will meet in the ring.
