The Divine Dominion still reign over the AEW women’s tag team division, defending their titles at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door: The Buy In. Megan Bayne and Lena Kross defeated Thunder Rosa and Olympia on the pre-show for Sunday’s PPW to retain their titles in the final match before the main PPV kicked off.

The match went about 10 minutes and saw the challengers go right at Bayne and Kross, keeping them from gaining too much momentum early on. Kross and Bayne took over on Rosa, but Olympia got the hot tag so the challengers could battle back.

The finish saw Olympia break up a pin attempt on Rosa after Bayne hit Fate’s Decent, but Olympia was taken out with a shotgun dropkick into a German suplex. The champions hit Rosa their double chokeslam for the win to retain the titles.
