DIY Appears On WWE NXT, Takes Out Trick Williams

DIY made a return to NXT to respond to Trick Williams’ clams of being the greatest NXT superstar ever. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa came out on Tuesday’s show to interrupt a promo by Williams, who was arguing that he’s the hottest and greatest NXT star that ever lived.

Gargano and Ciampa compared accomplishments with Williams and Gargano said Williams’ resume speaks for itself, but that the jury is still out on greatest NXT star. He referenced Finn Balor, Bayley, the Undisputed Era and Bobby Roode before Ciampa threw their names in the hat as two guys who defined an NXT era and bled Black and Gold, paving the way for Williams to be there.

Williams pushed back and said he’s kicked their accolades back to Medieval Times and is still the greatest NXT star of all time. That led to CIampa shoving Williams, who got superkicked by Gargano and then hit with stereo kicks by DIY.
