Drew McIntyre is done with all the nonsense on WWE Smackdown, telling Nick Aldis he he’s quitting in the opening segment of this week’s show. Friday night’s show opened with McIntyre coming through the crowd, livid over losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes last week. He told Aldis to leave the contract for the WrestleMania match between Randy Orton and Rhodes be and come out to make things right for him.
Aldis came out and said Drew lost fair and square, and it was his job to defend the title. McIntyre complained about Jacob Fatu’s involvement in the match, but Aldis pointed out how McIntyre has cost Rhodes repeated matches.
McIntyre threatened Aldis before Fatu came out to the ring and said there isn’t anything to fix. He noted that McIntyre won the title because of him and he’s the one who screwed McIntyre. He asked the former champion what he was going to do about it. McIntyre then told Aldis he quits and then exited through the crowd.
You can see highlights from the match below. McIntyre lost the title to Rhodes on last Friday’s Smackdown after Fatu stopped him from using a chair on Rhodes.
