EK Prosper Steps In For Shawn Spears, Helps Lizzy Rain Beat The Culling In WWE NXT

Lizzy Rain found herself without Shawn Spears for her mixed tag match on WWE NXT, but EK Prosper was there to lend a hand. Tuesday night’s episode opened with a scheduled match pitting Rain and Spears against the latter’s former Culling stablemates in Izzi Dame and Niko Vance. However, when it came time for the match, Spears couldn’t be found.

Rain started out the match against Dame, and after some offense by the babyface Dame tagged in Vance. That would normally require the male member of the team to tag in, but Spears not there that wasn’t possible. Prosper then came down to the ring and took Spears’ place.

The nearly 11-minute match saw Rain and Prosper pick up the victory when they double teamed Vance for running kicks, followed by a moonsault from Prosper to get the three-count. You can see clips from the WWE NXT match below.
