Elio LeFleur Reportedly Came Up With His New AAA Ring Name

As previously reported, WWE signed European wrestler Aigle Blanc earlier this year. It was announced earlier this week that Blanc would be debuting in AAA later this month with the new ring name, Elio Lefleur. Fightful has more details on the wrestler’s ring name change.

According to Fightful’s Corey Brennan, Elio’s new ring name was reportedly one of several the wrestler suggested himself. It’s said that WWE ultimately approved the Elio Lefleur ring name that he came up with.

The 26-year-old wrestler hails from Paris, France, who previously competed in wXw, along with appearing in NORTH Wrestling and Revolution Pro Wrestling. He reportedly took part in WWE tryouts during WrestleMania weekend, and he was later signed along with other European talents, including Mike D Vecchio and Zozaya. It should be interesting to see how Blanc performs in AAA with his new gimmick as Elio Lefleur.

Elio Lefleur will be in action at AAA Alianzas on Friday, November 28. He will face Jack Cartwheel and Chris Carter in a Triple Threat Match. It will be a qualifying match to determine the second challenger for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship.

The event is being held at the Auditorio GNP Seguros in Puebla, Mexico. The match announcement is available below:
