– According to a report by Cultaholic’s Aidan Gibbons, WWE is looking to sign two stars from the European independent wrestling scene following recent WWE tryouts. Sources close to the situation inform Cultaholic that WWE is in the process of signing wrestlers Aigle Blanc and Mike D Vecchio.

Following WWE tryouts earlier this year, the company is signing two stars of the European independent wrestling scene. They are reportedly expected to start with WWE in September.

Additionally, Fightful reports that both wrestlers are nearly signed, along with the previously reported Zozaya, who said to also start with WWE later in September.

Fightful also reports that the three wrestlers’ contracts are being handled by James Amner. It’s also said that there is at least one more talent expected to sign with the promotion, but it’s unknown if it’s a UK-based talent at the moment.

Also, Fightful reports that Goldenboy Santos is currently recovering from an injury. He’s said to still have interest in WWE, but he’s not expected to sign with the company for the time being.

Blanc is a French wrestler who started in 2014 and has also regularly competed in wXw, along with appearing in NORTH Wrestling and Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro). Mike D Vecchio hails from Belgium and has also competed in wXw, RevPro, and PROGRESS Wrestling. D Vecchio currently holds the wXw European Championship after winning it from Blanc last October.

Both wrestlers also recently competed in the B Block of the AJPW Carnival.
