Note On Frustration In WWE Over Lack of Direction For Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio

Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio have been largely unused since WrestleMania, and it is a reportedly source of internal frustration in the company. Mysterio and Morgan both competed at WrestleMania 42, as Morgan won the Women’s World Championship from Stephanie Vaquer and Mysterio lost to Finn Balor. However, the two have not been used frequently since that time and Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that their lack of direction has caused some within the company to be frustrated.
According to the report, the original plans for Liv Morgan had her continuing her feud with Vaquer. However, Vaquer is out of action due to injury and there has not been much adjustment to keep Morgan a main part of the show. On the other hand, the site reports that there has been an effort to keep Mysterio as an on-screen character even if he doesn’t have matches.
It is noted that Mysterio is expected to be used more as WWE moves toward promoting TripleMania 34, which takes place in September. Meanwhile, Morgan is expected to be more active on Raw regardless of Vaquer’s recovery status.
Morgan hasn’t wrestled since she faced Sol Ruca on the Raw after WrestleMania in a non-title match. Mysterio’s last televised match was an AAA Mega Championship defense against Original El Grande Americano on the May 11th episode of Raw, which was his first match since WrestleMania.
