GUNTHER Says He’s Outgrown The Intercontinental Title

In an interview with WrestlingNewsCo (via Fightful), WWE Intercontinental champion GUNTHER says that he’s outgrown the title and is ready to move on.

He was asked if the IC belt could headline Wrestlemania, and he said “that’s not gonna happen”. He noted the top two belts likely headline as “it should be” and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has a “very good run”.

He added: “But I think there’s a ranking system and everything for a reason. I think it’s quite obvious that I outgrew the Intercontinental Championship already, I am ready to make that next step.“
