Jake Hager Gets Slapped Unconscious at Power Slap 21

Former WWE and AEW star Jake Hager competed at last night’s Power Slap 21 event in Las Vegas. During the event, he suffered a third-round knockout from opponent Amanpreet Singh (aka former WWE and TNA wrestler Mahabali Shera). Jake Hager signed with Power Slap, signing a multi-event deal with the promotion earlier this year. The 43-year-old former WWE World Heavyweight Champion parted ways with AEW about two years ago after his contract expired, opting not to re-sign with the promotion.

Hager has largely stepped away from wrestling since leaving AEW. However, he did wrestle a match for WWC at WWC Aniversario 53 last month. As previously noted, WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley and her husband, AEW wrestler Buddy Matthews, were also in attendance at last night’s event.
