Jake Roberts Gives Update on AEW Status

Jake Roberts hasn’t appeared on AEW for a while, but he noted that he’s still with them and up for whatever they want him to do. Roberts returned to working for AEW in November after dealing with some health issues, and he gave an update on his status with the company on the latest episode of his new Snake Pit podcast for AdFreeShows.

“Whatever AEW wants out of me, I’m there,” Roberts said (per Fightful). “Whether it’s managing Lance or doing something behind the scenes trying to help kids. I’ve been approached to do something where we visit hospitals and stuff and I’m very very excited to do it. It’s near and dear to my heart, hopefully we’re able to hit some rehab [centers] too where we can talk to some people and help them break the corner.”

Roberts has been on AEW TV in the past as Lance Archer’s manager. He sakd earlier this month that he would be interested in doing commentary for the company, noting, “I’m hoping AEW will give me that opportunity, but they may not. I don’t know. I would love to do it.“
