Jamie Hayter is currently sidelined with a “major injury.” Following last night’s edition of AEW Dynamite & Collision, Tony Khan went live on social media and revealed that Hayter sustained a major injury at last month’s All Out pay-per-view.
Hayter and Alex Windsor defended the Women’s World Tag Team Championship against The Divine Dominion in a brutal Chicago Street Fight match at All Out 2026.
Khan said he expected The Brawling Birds to defend their gold against the current number-one contenders Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron, presumably at WrestleDream this Saturday, but fans will have to wait for that because Jamie is currently injured.
Though Tony described the injury as “major,” he didn’t reveal the exact nature and said that he expects the English pro wrestler to return to in-ring action in two weeks’ time.
Khan said, “I was hoping The Brawling Birds would be able to defend the Tag Team Championship, but Jamie Hayter, from that Chicago Street Fight, is still out injured. Hopefully Jamie Hayter will be back in a couple of weeks. But that was a major injury.”
Jamie Hayter was featured in a backstage segment alongside fellow United Empire members on last night’s show. You can view Khan’s announcement on her status below.
