TMZ reports that WWE Superstar Jimmy Uso (aka Jonathan Fatu), of The Usos, was arrested this week after having a drunken dispute with police officers in Detroit, Michigan. According to the report, the incident took place after Uso and his wife, fellow WWE Superstar Naomi, were pulled over by police near downtown Detroit. Per the report, Naomi was allegedly driving the wrong way on a one-way street.

Cops stated that Uso and Naomi’s Dodge Journey 2018 smelled of alcohol, so they asked Naomi to step out of the vehicle. While Naomi spoke to the officers, and Jimmy Uso also got out of the car, despite orders from the officers that he not get out. Uso is then alleged to have taken off his jacket and squared up with the officers like he wanted to fight. An officer reportedly took out his taser weapon out of fear for his safety.

Eventually, Uso settled down and complied to the officers’ commands. After that, he was handcuffed and arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction. The WWE Superstar was later taken to jail and posted bond.

Per PWInsider, WWE later released a statement on Uso’s arrest. It stated the following:

“Jonathan Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions.”

According to the report, Uso was not in Detroit for a WWE live event. A picture of his mugshot is available at the above link. He was slated to team up with his brother later this weekend at Elimination Chamber to face Shane McMahon and The Miz for the Smackdown tag team titles.
